How we got here
Vincent and Mark started Quietroom in 2004, working part time, promoting our ideas to the financial service sector, taking on small projects from Starbucks (promoting Bean Stock) and HBOS (working with the marketing team in Bristol and the complaints team in Clevedon). Very quickly more work followed from others we'd done small projects with: Cunningham Lindsey, Prudential, Friends Provident and Grant Thornton.
Since then we have grown organically, one job leading to another, bringing people into Quietroom to fulfill the work. Similarly, the breadth of what we do for our clients has expanded. We started off by running copywriting workshops for marketing departments. This led to helping those departments define and write difficult product propositions. We then worked with the customer service teams who deliver the brand experience over the phone. Then we moved on to employee engagement initiatives, Chief Executives' roadshows, and defining a brand language, along with the practical tools to help people use it. Our latest project is working with retention teams in customer service.
