The people who work here

More by chance than by design, everybody at Quietroom has taken similar paths into corporate communication. We all started out in the arts, either as performers or on the production side. Vincent, Simon and Jane are actors and writers, Rhys is a musician and songwriter, Tom a stand-up comic and Anthony is a published writer. Jochem an opera singer and Mark a theatre producer. Most of us combined this work to a greater or lesser extent with serious careers in the corporate world: in marketing, copywriting, sales, project and business management. We’ve come to realise that the very qualities which took us into the performing arts directly benefit our clients: an unerring focus on the audience, an obsessive fear of letting ourselves and others down and a highly competitive spirit, combined with a fierce loyalty to the team. We see every problem as an opportunity to do something interesting, unexpected and pleasing for our clients.
